Privacy and data protection

For the purposes of the Data Protection Act 1998 it is confirmed that the proprietor of the website located at bucks.tv (the “Website”) is Buckinghamshire New University, of Queen Alexandra Road, High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, HP11 2JZ, United Kingdom (the University of for these purposes “Bucks Television”).

Bucks Television is committed to protecting the privacy of each user and contributor to the Website (“you,” “your,” “yourself”) and sets out Bucks Television’s Privacy Policy below in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

In general, you can access and browse the Website without identifying who you are or revealing any personal data about yourself. Bucks Television will ensure that any personal data received from you, whether whilst submitting multimedia content to the Website or otherwise, will be processed in accordance with the eight principles in the Schedules of the Data Protection Act 1998.

The Website allows users to browse multimedia content on the Website and submit multimedia content of your own to the Website. You may also be able to use other functions on the Website such as contributing to the Website’s forums, community blogs and other functions. Automatic collection of personal data

Subject to the provision on cookies below, Bucks Television has not set up the Website to automatically collect or store personal data other than by logging your IP address.
